A day as a Human Resources Coordinator in Cirtec Medical

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll oversee various HR projects and activities, providing essential support to employees, the HR Generalist, and the HR Manager. Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll collaborate with different departments, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Key areas of expertise are:

  • Manage Employee Records & Compliance: Update, scan, and maintain employee files while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Plan & Coordinate Events: Organize office events, coordinate with departments and vendors, and enhance workplace culture through culture club activities.
  • Communicate & Collaborate: Inform employees about company policies and news, and work across departments to provide necessary assistance.
  • Support HR Operations: Assist with onboarding, HR requests, special projects, and provide administrative support to the HR team.

Must Have:

  • Associate degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2 years of experience as an HR coordinator or in related office work.
  • Understanding of labor laws and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration, time and people management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

Good to have:

  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
