System One is actively recruiting for a Construction Management Project Manager for a long-term contract position located in Denver, CO.

This position will be supporting steam heat and chilled water projects throughout the Denver metro area.

Construction Management Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction management of large industrial projects, piping, valves, vaults, underground utilities.
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects at a time,
  • Attend morning plan of the day meetings and working with operations throughout the day, scoping and identifying issues.
  • Manage multiple projects based out of our Denver steam and chilled water plants, maintaining district cooling and steam heat throughout downtown Denver.
  • Responsible for leading all the capital improvement projects from pipe replacement, valve replacement, vault replacement, etc. in the streets of downtown Denver.
  • Responsible for managing the projects from start to finish, helping with determine what projects need to be created, providing justification, etc.
  • Responsible for overseeing the work in the field and overseeing contractors.
  • Close communication with some of our outside customers that supply steam heat and chilled water to, including the Colorado Convention Center and other customers throughout downtown.
  • Responsible for interfacing with contractors and providing oversight.
  • Will work with design groups to come up with engineering designs and executing those out in the field.
  • Responsible for cradle to grave project management, to include budget/schedule management.
  • Majority of the day could be doing oversight of vendors out in the field since most of the work is time and material, make sure that that we always have oversight present for the contractors
  • Oversee construction management and safety. Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • 5 years of Project Management experience
  • Bachelor's in engineering, prefer Mechanical
  • Require this individual to report to site five days a week due to the nature of the work.
  • 5 years of budget/schedule management experience
  • Ability to read drawings, etc.
  • Municipality experience and/or experience in oil and gas industry. Project Location: Denver, CO Contract Duration: 12-Months Hourly Pay Rate: $70.00 – $72.00/hr. *Company vehicle will be provided during work hours
