Senior Analyst/Transfer Pricing

  • The Senior Analyst will provide hands-on support for the transfer pricing needs of MMC entities operating around the world and will focus on data, analytics, and modeling
  • The candidate will work to improve the quality, gathering process, and availability of intercompany transactional information necessary for compliance, controversy readiness and responses, and global tax planning
  • The candidate will need to communicate across local, regional, and global controllership, tax, accounting, systems, legal, and finance teams to provide support on transfer pricing related items

We will count on you to:

  • Work with various accounting and finance teams to gather and understand transactional financial information for transfer pricing analyses, including tested party data
  • Perform detailed modeling and analyses and prepare supporting work papers for intercompany transactions to ensure consistency, audit readiness, and risk mitigation
  • Liaise with the Global Transfer Pricing Planning team to ensure correct implementation, proper documentation, and appropriate financial controls are in place
  • Align transfer pricing calculations with business operations and financial statements
  • Strategic review of new system solutions to resolve manual workflows for both short-term efficiencies and long-term solutions
  • Communicate with finance directors and other business executives to understand functional activities and draft reports and slide decks to memorialize the facts
  • Support the Global Transfer Pricing team, by partnering with controllership, to ensure year-end calculations are completed and reviewed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with regional legal teams to review and implement contracts that properly reflect intercompany services and activities
  • Assist in preparing written responses and collecting supporting information for global transfer pricing audits and inquiries from tax authorities

What you will need to have:

  • Minimum of three years of accounting or operational transfer pricing experience
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Understand regional transfer pricing and tax legislation as well as command of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and journal entries
  • Familiarity with financial systems and/or an aptitude to learn new systems, capabilities, and processes

What makes you stand out:

  • Transfer Pricing/Accountancy experience
  • CPA or in process of completing the CPA exam is preferred
  • Big Four Public Accounting experience is preferred
  • Advanced excel modelling skills and knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI, and Microsoft 360 preferred

The applicable base salary range for this role is $68,300 to $136,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
