In 2020, the Bank Group assembled a Mental Health Task Force, led by the Human Resources (HR) Vice Presidency and the Health and Safety Directorate (HSD) to develop the Mental Health and Well-Being strategy for the institution. The Strategy, which was launched in Spring 2022, was designed to increase the effectiveness of the organization by promoting, protecting, and supporting the mental health and well-being of WBG employees.

To co-ordinate and manage the implementation process, we require a team of dedicated professionals that will form the Secretariat to support the Program Manager and the Implementation Committee comprised of the Program Sponsors People and Culture Vice President, IFC COSVP and Regional Director for LAC and 60 WBG volunteers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Provide a full range of administrative and operational support to the Secretariat
Schedule meetings, arrange for briefing materials, and provide support in coordinating meetings, and a variety of events as necessary.
Establish and maintain an effective network of contacts, both inside and outside of the Unit to ensure effective cooperation in support of unit deliverables.
Create requests for STCs and POs in Admin Portal, eConsultant and other systems as needed. Handle PCard and Event Card payments, and monthly reconciliation of expenses.
Collaborate with other team members and contribute productively to the teams work and output.
Undertake ad hoc duties that may be assigned by the Program Manager.

Selection Criteria

Minimum of Bachelors degree and/ college diploma with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in similar role, preferably in a large international organization or multinational corporation.

Excellent organizational, administrative, and effective time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, schedule, plan and coordinate work and other activities internally and externally.
Strong attention to detail and to maintaining high quality standards.
Ability to produce high quality work under pressure.
Proven ability to create and work in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment, to perform effectively in a constantly changing environment with competing activities and demands, and to effectively serve as a team member in various groups.
Demonstrated ability to organize and implement projects and tasks, set priorities, coordinate, and monitor assignments to maximize efficiency and quality.
Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a range of contacts internally and externally and deal effectively with diverse situations which require good judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
Effective analytical, research and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and make judgments and decisions with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written), including ability to draft, proofread and edit correspondences and ensure quality of written outputs; French and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
Demonstrated ability to respond and deal effectively with diverse situations which require good judgment, tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Good computer skills; proficiency with various software technologies such as MS Office, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other standard office productivity software. Ability to learn quickly new software applications.
High degree of motivation, initiative, flexibility, and reliability.
