Senior Change/Communication Consultant

  • Managing client projects that focus on developing and delivering communication strategies, communication plans, and associated deliverables that articulate client objectives, advance an employee value proposition, contribute to behavior change through the transmission of information and sharing of employee feedback/emotions, and/or increase employee engagement
  • Leading employee-facing communication engagements across industries

We will count on you to:

  • Perform project management duties, including developing and maintaining project plans, overseeing budgets, coordinating team activities, participating in and facilitating meetings, and other associated tasks
  • Develop communication strategies for clients where significant behavioral change is required, and interact with clients on a regular basis by leading client meetings, answering questions, overseeing edits or changes, and providing requested materials
  • Lead discussions with colleagues to generate ideas and analyze applicable data to implement and design communication strategies
  • Generate revenue through the acquisition of new clients, cross-selling to current clients, and extending current client engagements to add new activities including conducting face-to-face meetings with potential clients (prospects)
  • Understand all available products within the business and proactively reach out to provide targeted information on how Mercer offerings will benefit specific client needs

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Solid experience with change and/or technology communications and employment branding
  • At least 8 years' experience in a consulting environment, with proven ability to generate revenue by acquiring new clients and experience managing and developing a team of professionals
  • Excellent sales and marketing skills, plus the ability to market communication strengths successfully
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and leadership skills

The applicable base salary range for this role is $162,000 to $324,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
