Title:
FMS AnalystThis position will provide technical and analytical expertise for the acquisition planning, controlling and organizing of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program for the US Integrated Fires and Mission Command Office's International Programs Directorate

Specific duties include:
Utilizes knowledge of missile system hardware to identify issues and concerns with training, delivery schedules and system modifications.

Possess the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively to collect and analyze technical data to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Candidate must be able to write clearly and informatively and present numerical data effectively.

Will prepare for and support meetings, working groups, and conferences with analysis, reports, briefings, and minutes associated with potential and current FMS programs.

Maintain consistent and routine liaison with appropriate organizations related to program problems and requirements by means of telephone, personal contacts, and meetings to assure resolution of problems.

Assist in the development of the manpower Travel Data Sheets, Integrated Master Schedule, Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements List and Contract Work Breakdown Structure.

Conduct research into project-related issues to ensure compliance with guidelines as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Other Transaction Authorities.

Will contribute information and recommendations to risk management strategies and reviews; prepare and complete action plans and identify trends; and support program requirements, program schedules and other related tasks in support of FMS pre-case, case execution, reconciliation and case closure activities.


Additional duties include but are not limited to:

  • Track project milestones and deliverables and conduct project after action reviews to identify areas for internal improvement.
  • Support meetings, working groups, and conferences with analysis, reports, briefings, and minutes associated with potential and current FMS programs
  • Provide administrative and technical project assistance by performing document preparation
  • Collect, complete and organize programmatic, technical and financial dataRequired skills: Bachelor's degree with 5+years' experience in Security Assistance. Experience and /or DoD weapons and Missile system experience. Experience in FMS acquisition and contracting is highly desired. Applicant must be a self-starter and be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. 10% travel may be required. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
