As a Manager, Technical Product Management (TPM) at Riot, you will combine deep experiences with product leadership capabilities to provide players with essential features and supporting systems. As the TPM manager for Return to Service and Game Operations in LiveOps, You will set the product direction, vision, and strategy for the technical operations of Riot Games, which will help our game incident management, operation toolings, game release, You will collaborate with and lead our global teams to consistently improve high-quality gaming experiences to our players worldwide.
Responsibilities:- Define and drive a vision, strategy and roadmap for Tech Operations in order to support SRO/SRE, NOC, and Live Incident Management engineering for Riot game global operations
- Priority of Customer Needs & Customer Engagement
- SLA and KPI Definition & Adherence for the Initiative
- Ensure teams make clear commitments and deliver on them.
- Assess the organization's maturity, health, and composition to ensure that the organization is set up for success.
- Ensuring teams are staffed efficiently and funded appropriately.
- Management of Product Leads in the initiative
- The advocation of, and being able to speak to, the product direction set by your product partner.
- Create and contribute ideas to areas beyond your immediate ownership across different teams and disciplines.
- 6+ years of relevant industry and product experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Bachelors in CS, Math, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent teamwork, team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
- Experience in SRE, SRO, incident management, product release cycle
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- The ability to balance long-term strategic objectives against near-term tactical wins.
- Broad technical understanding of common operational and development challenges
- Nice-to-have technical/engineering background
- Have the hands-on experience to navigate around constraints while finding balanced tech solutions
- Background in backend services, operations, or infrastructure preferably in the space of high-reliability systems
- Nice to have experience of leading a global team
- Business fluency in English, and can drive effective collaboration across language and culture
