Work Schedule:
Typically Monday - Friday , additional information may be provided during the interview process.

Duties of the Physician:

  • Provide primary medical care/treatment services to Veterans enrolled in GeriPACT clinic
  • Adhere to established policies and processes
  • Comply with all CPRS documentation procedures
  • Comply with local and national performance measures
  • Provide consistent customer service with patients/families, staff, facility management, etc
  • Provide prompt diagnostic assessment and evaluation, including full history and
physical exam, appropriate labs, radiological imaging, consultations,

documentation of the evaluation and appropriate coding for billing in progress

notes, communication with admitting teams, and discharge planning on all

patients

  • Review all Outlook email communications prior to completing his/her duty shift
  • Complete and sign all electronic medical records and all orders prior to the
completion of each duty shift. Consistent with current medical staff by-laws, all

transcribed electronic medical record documents must be signed within forty eight

(48) hours of the encounter regardless of the duty schedule

  • Complete all patient encounters within fortyeight hours of patient visit
  • Meet all performance goals
