Position Summary
Instructor-Tenure Track, Nursing Faculty for OB/PEDS is a full-time position working in the Day/Evening Divisions and will be responsible for successfully performing the professional duties of both didactic and clinical instruction.
This position will require teaching lecture in the day/evening and teaching clinical in the evening, will assist with activities, schedules courses for their division(s) and peer mentor new adjuncts.
This position also participates in College meetings as well as Nursing Program Committee meetings that take place 2-3 times monthly on Mondays, and other regular standing meetings throughout the academic year.
Ability to work with College Lecturers and students. Great communication and organization skills.Salary Classification:

Minimum Qualifications
RN Licensure with a Master's Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Two years' college-level teaching experience, preferably at the community college level. Experience teaching in the specific discipline. Ability to work with College Lecturers and students. Demonstrated knowledge of modern pedagogical technology and its use in the classroom. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide diverse teaching methods to differing learning styles. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and the ability to teach students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Preferred experience in distance education course delivery.
