About Cognizant's Communications Media and Technology Practice:

At Cognizant CMT - a cross functional team comprised of Delivery Leads, Product Managers, Architects, embedded developers, manual testers, performance testers and automation testers, builds higher quality cutting edge software solutions for clients in cable industry across the globe. Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Perl in Cloud - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.

· Ensure the scalability and performance of applications through effective coding practices.

· Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

· Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

· Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

· Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to company standards.

· Work closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications - Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals.

Qualifications:

· Senior Developer with 7+ years of overall experience & technical expertise in Perl.

· Very good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design

· Good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Perl

· Good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Cloud-based technologies

· Good understanding of Architectural and Design patterns

· Experience in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.

· Good technical knowledge Java, and NodeJs.

· Good technical knowledge and hands-on experience in React JS/ Angular JS/ JQuery

· Hands-on experience in Oracle 11g and PLSQL will be a plus point.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until August 9th, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
