Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a new manufacturing client to recruit and hire a Full Time Financial Accountant in Smithville, TN

This position will be integral in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. They will be responsible for various accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reporting actual sales against budget and forecast, providing insights into financial performance.
  • Managing accounts receivable, analyzing past due accounts, and collaborating with customers for resolution.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of financial reports for management review.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Participating in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Assisting with audits and regulatory filings as required.
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in modeling and Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Our Client Offers:

  • Base salary in the 70k-80k range

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
