Responsibilities / Tasks

GEA is seeking a dynamic Manure Sales Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will drive sales through independent dealers, provide expert sales support, and maintain a professional image for our Manure product lines. You will be the key liaison between GEA and our dealer network, responsible for training, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.

As our Manure Sales Team Lead, you will travel extensively to build strong dealer relationships, provide product training, and support sales growth. You will also communicate key market insights back to GEA, contribute to business planning, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Sales and Dealer Support

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets for assigned dealerships.
  • Collaborate with dealers on sales strategies and support their success.
  • Assist with dealer orders and ensure understanding of GEA policies and procedures.

Communication and Reporting

  • Report warranty issues, sales forecasts, and other key information to management.
  • Act as a liaison between GEA and dealers.
  • Regularly review GEA updates and bulletins with dealers.
  • Communicate industry trends and customer feedback to GEA.

Market Analysis and Management

  • Analyze market potential and suggest new dealership opportunities.
  • Evaluate dealer performance and propose changes when necessary.
  • Participate in business planning sessions with dealers.
  • Mediate and resolve issues between GEA and dealers.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Training and Development

  • Lead dealer training on sales, installation, and technical aspects of GEA manure products.
  • Organize and deliver in-person and online training sessions.
  • Assist with project design and provide technical support to dealers.
  • Recruit dealers to attend training programs and support them during field demonstrations.

Time Management and Travel

  • Plan and submit monthly itineraries, call reports, and expense reports.
  • Efficiently manage time and travel (60-70% travel required).
  • Attend trade shows and meetings as needed.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of driving results.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand floor plans.
  • Strong computer skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Work in various conditions, including office settings, farms, and outdoor environments.
  • Regularly drive long distances and perform site visits.
  • Travel via air and car for extended periods.

Additional Requirements

  • Company vehicle and credit card provided.
  • Not authorized to make commitments outside GEA policies.
  • 60-70% travel required.
