You will:


Plan, schedule and conduct periodic audits of field site working conditions to determine the nature and extent of any potentially hazardous physical, biological or chemical conditions, and the effectiveness of existing control measures and work processes.

Provide expert advice and direction on industrial hygiene and safety matters, including conducting field site health and safety surveys develop and implement control measures for employees engaged in high risk field activities; selection of sampling equipment and analytical tests to be performed on samples taken; use of toxic and hazardous substances; control measures for dealing with hazardous exposures.

Work in coordination with and provides assistance to, the Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Program Manager on issues related to Superfund & Emergency Management Division(SEMD)'s operation of the overall Regional Occupational Health and Safety program.
