The City of Northfield is seeking Seasonal Ice Arena Attendant II / Zamboni Drivers. This position is responsible for performing tasks associated with the maintenance and operations of the Northfield Ice Arena.

Incumbents perform routine maintenance, ice resurfacing, customer service, cash register operations, facilities monitoring and janitorial duties on the grounds and facility.


Hours of work:
September 2024 thru March 2025.

Flexible hours, evening and weekends required per week. Criminal background and drug testing required. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ice Arena Attendant II / Zamboni Driver Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to perform light to heavy physical labor.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous ice arena experience preferred. Recent completion of CPR and AED training
