Job Summary and QualificationsWorks in collaboration with Pediatric Nursing Management to provide for the developmental needs of hospitalized children age 0-21 to include advocating for psychosocial, emotional, physical and cognitive needs. Decreases the anxiety and/or trauma with illness and hospitalization through interventions, which promote play, learning, mastery, self-expression, and peer interaction.
What qualifications you will need:- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Child Life internship program of hours under a Certified Child Life Specialist
- Bachelors Degree in Child Life/ Child Development/ Human Development
- Experience in working with children and adolescents.
- Child Life Specialist Certification (CCLS)
