Notre Dame Preparatory School, a Catholic, independent school for girls grades 6-12, located in Towson Maryland, seeks a full-time Middle School Math Teacher for the school year. The teacher's responsibilities will be to teach Middle Level Math, engage in the Middle Level school life and serve as a Middle Level advisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in mathematics. An understanding of the developmental needs of the Middle Level learner is also needed.

Notre Dame Prep is a one-to-one laptop school internet capability; the skills and knowledge to utilize available technology is a strong consideration in the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Middle Level courses which could include Math 6, Math 7, Math 8, Pre-Algebra or Algebra.
  • Serve as Middle Level Advisor
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Math Department.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate will possess:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
    • A master's degree in Math or education is preferred.
    • At least three (3) years of teaching experience with middle school teaching experience preferred.
    • Willingness to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, and parents.
    • Commitment to the mission and values of Notre Dame Preparatory School.
