BAE Systems is looking for a Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Assessment Technician III.
Purpose
Performs a variety of Electrostatic Discharge activities including but not limited to installations of equipment, testing, assessments & certifications. Works from design drawings, diagrams, and schematics, verbal and written instructions to test and perform ESD installations. Receives detailed instructions and equipment requirements from supervisor or engineering personnel. This position covers all Southern New Hampshire BAE Systems locations, so incidental travel between facilities will be required.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversees the installation and movement of a variety of ESD equipment.
- Assembles, Installs and tests a variety of ESD related equipment such as, ground blocks, ionizers, soldering irons, constant monitors, wrist strap detectors, dissipative mat material, Etc.
- Utilizes various types of test equipment such as Multi-meters, Constant Monitor testers, and multiple Resistance test kits.
- Performs a variety of qualitative tests assessments on samples to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments to ensure compliance.
- Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports for ESD assessments.
- Ensures that the performances of these activities are well documented on work orders and recertification/distribution lists. Maintain accurate data entry records.
Experience with various Resistance test equipment ie:
Multi-meters, Surface Resistance testers etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry. Ability to obtain a secret clearance. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Multi-meters, Surface Resistance testers etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry. Ability to obtain a secret clearance. TR53 Certified or trained.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $72490

This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
