The primary duties of this position are as follows:

Composes and prepares confidential, routine, and non-technical correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents for the Financial Management Office (FMO) into final format using a computer.

Reviews correspondence for procedural and grammatical accuracy, conformance with policy, factual correctness, and adequacy of treatment.
Serves as the FMO timekeeper. Assures timesheets are complete and approved by deadline. Includes setting up key codes in timekeeping system and assigning to employees as needed.

Provides accurate and timely advice and guidance on procedures, reports, requirements, and other matters necessary to implement policies, directives, and instructions for FMO.

Functions as FMOs travel coordinator.

Makes necessary arrangements for conferences, including space, time, contacting people, and other matters based on information provided by the Financial Manager.

Receives phone calls and determines which calls can be answered personally and which should be directed elsewhere by identifying needed information and locating the appropriate person to be contacted or directed.
