Structural Intern – Portland Office

Froelich Engineers, Inc. is seeking students who are interested in structural engineering to work in our Portland, Oregon office. This is a temporary, summer internship position.

Personal Qualifications:

• Prefer students entering senior year of classes
• An attitude of ownership in your work; client satisfaction in quality of work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Candidates must exhibit a working knowledge in a variety of materials
• Positive and professional attitude; eager to learn
• Self-motivated, outgoing individuals who excel when working alongside team members and clients; as well as a problem solver who can work alone
• CAD/Revit experience preferred

Position Entails:

• REVIT modeling
• Engineering calculations
• Site visits and reports
• Shop drawings reviews

Compensation:
TBD (based on qualifications)

Employment type:
TEMPORARY Internship; part-time, 4-5 days per week during the summer. Flexible days and hours.
