What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners and associates to comprehend customer challenges.
  • Lead product management and systems architecture to develop and maintain existing solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practice to continuously improve what we do to enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and execute strategies for sustainable and cost-effective product lifecycle management.
  • Lead the sustainment engineering team in improving existing products and systems.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team, including design, architecture, and quality assurance.
  • Mentor team members to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Purpose of the role

As a part of the technology sustainment team, you will work collaboratively and creatively to solve complex business problems and implement new products.

Implement lifecycle management for existing implementations to maintain applications to service level agreements. Understand the entire architecture of the application and recommend changes when necessary.

The principal role is more focused on the lifecycle, architecture, and design, and delegation of tech duties. It requires strong people skills and onboarding applications into sustainment.

You understand how to balance customer needs with business goals and deliver technical solutions that enhance business value. You are creative, curious, and highly analytical, and you thrive on constant change in the digital marketplace while never stopping learning.

Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required and 7+ years of relevant work experience or
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required and 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth Experience as a software developer working with product teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages/platforms such as C#, .NET, Azure, cloud-based SaaS, and PaaS solutions is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as MS and SQL server are preferred.
  • In-depth Experience with API design and integration is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills
