What You'll Do

Epic is looking for a leader who can drive a multi-disciplinary team of artists and designers to deliver LEGO assets across frequent updates in a live-service product. Coming from a proven background in Computer Game Art, you will work across departments, collaborating with Art, Tech, and Production to manage and streamline the LEGO asset-building process. You will be excellent at organization, capable of navigating complex dependencies, bid on future endeavors, and comfortable communicating projections to leadership. You will use your strong visual aesthetic to ensure the successful execution of the creative vision.

In this role, you will
  • Be an expert in LEGO's unique visual style
  • Maintain strong relationships with discipline leaders to ensure the successful delivery of shippable assets for LEGO Fortnite
  • Discover and mitigate bottlenecks to improve the process and increase team velocity
  • Collaborate with the Product and IP teams to plan and deliver assets for Cosmetics, in addition to assets for the base game
  • Support fostering a great relationship with IP Partners
  • Know how to evaluate ROI and make effective compromises while maintaining Epic's high standards
  • Be adaptive and open to continuous improvements as the game and process evolves
What we're looking for
  • Experience having a leadership role in a large production environment
  • Strong understanding of art fundamentals, multiple art styles, and appeal
  • A deep understanding of the game development process and art pipelines
  • Experience with Unreal Engine, Perforce, Jira, and Shotgrid
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fondness for LEGO
