NK Woodworking & Design is growing and looking for an awesome craftsman to join our team, would you consider moving to Seattle for an awesome job?


We build & install fine furniture, custom staircases, curved & complex trim work, casework, sculptural woodwork, and all hand made wood based fabrication.

We mostly work by hand, not a big cnc factory style shop and team. We are not super pretentious but really like our skills, our minds and our work.


Folks that typically do well with us are people with boat building & shipwright experience, furniture makers, cabinet makers, carvers, and or a diverse mix of all wood related trades.

Ideal candidates will have significant professional history and or trade school experience in these trades.

We have a great 12,000 sqft shop and super nice crew.

We have been in business for thirteen years and offer the typical basic benefits one would expect to have a good life here in Seattle.

But most important our main benefit is a craft forward, positive and supportive work environment. We have a regular schedule but allow a lot of flexibility to make life work.
