We are currently in search of a strategic minded, passionate, and motivated Product Manager to join the Labcorp Reporting & Delivery Solutions team. The scope of the product portfolio includes report creation, data solutions, delivery channels and integration with various products across the organization.

This candidate will be responsible for creating and managing the portfolio roadmap to advance reporting based on market trends, new technologies, clinical value, and competitor awareness. They will be responsible for driving the overall team priorities and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including business and IT leaders, to set and execute the vision for the team and our product offerings.

You will be responsible for guiding the team to the outcomes that best serve our customers and Labcorp. You will make judgments and recommendations based on data, analysis, and knowledge. You will then ensure the proper translation of the vision and design to the execution team, and delivery of the intended experience and value to market.

This job requires a high-level understanding of agile methodologies for software design and development. This person will be involved with intricate product management processes including roadmap collaboration, new feature design and development, software industry, project management, and the voice of the customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the translation of the product strategy to a detailed product vision and design for the execution team.
  • Serve as the main information resource for feature definition and scope specific clarifications.
  • Engage in frequent communication with business stakeholders for understanding the user's needs and making product recommendations.
  • Conduct market analysis to inform product design while understanding competitive feature needs and opportunities to leapfrog Labcorp's position.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps reflecting the strategy and execution plan.
  • Work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Create and execute go to market launch strategies.
  • Be action oriented when assessing performance driving continuous improvement, engagement, customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies.
  • Stay apprised of the latest technologies and innovations related to document creation, delivery, and service-oriented offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver formal presentations to socialize and gain alignment on product initiatives, design, and their business value.
  • Contribute to business case and return on investment preparation.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Product Manager role working with high demand products.
  • Product manager experience managing software products from inception through launch and decommission strategies.
  • Keen understanding and experience of product engineering and product management processes using agile methodology.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills based on experience, metrics, and insights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Highly skilled at facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience of healthcare and laboratory sector are highly preferred.
  • Broad technical exposure with the ability to learn new technology tools and concepts quickly.
  • Experience with agile and product life-cycle management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of technical data content, such as HL7, FHIR, and JSON.
  • Superb customer service and relationship building capabilities.
  • Proven informal leadership experience – direct reports not necessary.
  • Must be able and willing to travel as required (Approx. 15% domestic)
  • Bachelor's degree required
