Assistant Controller

Dallas, TX

One of Vaco's D2B clients that manufactures consumer products is looking to onboard an Assistant Controller. This person will have oversight for multiple companies at a consolidated level and midsized team of Staffs, Seniors and 1 Accounting Manager. They will be looking for folks that a have a demonstrated ability/track record of process improvement.

Company offers: 20% growth YOY, quick promotion tracks, 401K vested at 100% after 1 year

Day-to-day
  • Multi P&L + entity oversight, all close processes, financial package preparation
  • Will focus on shortening the close cycle, figure out a way to streamline various manual processes
  • Team development and mentorship (lots of newer individuals)
Looking for:
  • Leadership experience over the full scope and breadth of accounting operations
  • "Servant leader" mentality with a strong focus on mentorship and growth
  • CPA or CPA in-process
  • Exposure to private equity or high-volume multi-entity environments
