What you'll do at Jamf:

The Software Engineer II will work across multiple teams at Jamf to help meet the needs for core business systems. Tasks range from root-cause analysis of end user issues, efficiently developing processes and code to improve our company and building experiences to improve both internal Jamf users and external Jamf customer interactions. The primary function will be systems application development and integrations with operational systems throughout the company.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • A CSA (ServiceNow Administrator) and CAD (Certified ServiceNow Developer) Certification Required.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Create, improve and maintain software components utilizing appropriate software language(s) while applying the necessary engineering theory and logic to meet overall project requirements.
  • Assist in the coordination of component changes with related elements to ensure seamless flow and continuity.
  • Assists others in owned components and other fundamental expertise areas
  • Lead the development, implementation and testing tasks in different development projects tied to systems, modules and functionality
  • Work with and guide other team members when needed
  • Manage the documentation creation and updates related to any development tasks
  • Support and troubleshoot issues relating to custom development that have been created via the Helpdesk system with a high level of customer satisfaction and in a timely manner
  • Create different configuration & infrastructure environments in a development lab to troubleshoot issues and offer possible solutions
  • Maintain connections between core business systems
  • Any other task or projects as assigned
  • 2 -4 years experience developing enterprise grade modules with understanding of software, testing and quality assurance processes.
  • 2 -4 years demonstrated experience in python, javascript, or bash scripting language (to include at least one mainstream objective oriented or functional language) and tools based on position requirements (Required)
  • Working knowledge of the ServiceNow (Preferred)
  • Experience in javascript and modules (Preferred)
