Squad Lead

We will count on you to:

IT project manager responsible for leading a squad in the implementation of the DarwinTM SaaS (Software as a Service) platform to clients, managing changes to clients' requirements, and helping clients realize value from their investment in our technology. Build and maintain a cohesive team containing delivery roles across the 4 pillars of Program and Project, Consultancy, Configuration and Quality Assurance to optimize performance and deliver to a suite of clients assigned to the squad. Review the pipeline of work across the clients and resource appropriately. Motivate and manage a high-performing team to achieve project deliveries on time and within budget and scope. Work with the Program Managers in ensuring a first-class experience for clients. Manage workloads and resourcing for the whole squad ensuring an even split of responsibility and opportunity. Assist the Project Teams in identifying prioritization of tasks as required. Ensure the project teams keep their project toolkits up to date and maintained using the standard tools. Ensure all aspects of delivery follow best practice in accordance with the Darwin Delivery Methodology (DDM). Collaborate with the Project and Program Managers to align on priorities, risks and issues across clients. Manage any risks and incidents related to resource and delivery schedules with the relevant stakeholders. Manage impact of project delays within the squad during all phases for the implementation. Run orientation sessions where needed for new team members working in the squad. Support the Project and Program Managers with any internal project escalations as required. Monitor project activity including reviewing the timesheet and effort data recorded to ensure projects run on time and within scope. Collaborate with Capability Manager on reviewing squad members' performance and identifying areas for improvement and growth. Support squad performance reporting with support from PMO & MI. Position supervises eight (8) Implementation Consultants.

What you need to have:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any field plus three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with all of the following: Managing people in the delivery of Enterprise software products; Managing projects and programs by developing detailed project plans, monitoring or tracking project milestones and deliverables, identifying IT project resource requirements, participating in staffing decisions, assigning duties or work schedules to employees, and monitoring project team members' performance, providing and documenting performance feedback; Performing implementation consulting for an Enterprise software product, including evaluating information to determine compliance with standards; Line management of a SAAS delivery team, assigning duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel; coordinating their work; helping coach, train, and develop others; and developing and building teams; Performing Project Management and utilizing Office Software including Atlassian tools (JIRA); Utilizing Microsoft Project to create, manage and maintain complex implementation projects and/or programs; Utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyze, monitor and evaluate HRIS and Payroll data, including pivot tables and charting; and Utilizing Microsoft Word to produce client documentation surrounding their benefit, payroll and HRIS requirements and to produce program delivery principles for deliveries to abide by.
