Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include checking patients in and out, obtaining lab results, cleaning and prepping exam/procedure rooms, and completing administrative/clerical work. The role requires ensuring smooth clinic operations through efficient turnover and detailed attention. Post-clinic duties involve cleaning, sterilizing, and prepping rooms for the next day. This is a fast-paced clinic and the right candidate will be hands on and proactive with tasks.

Hard Skills

  • MA Certification / Diploma (Required)
  • 1 year of recent MA experience (Required)
  • BLS associated with AHA (Required prior to start date)
  • Venipuncture / Phlebotomy
  • EKG experience
  • Experience with EPIC (preferred)
  • Cleaning medical equipment
  • Patient chart updates
  • Woman's health background a plus
  • Reliable form of transportation

Work Environment

  • This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
  • Schedule: 8 hour day shifts; potential for weekends.
