As a Supervisory It Cybersecurity Specialist (Infosec), you will:

  • Lead and manage a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC) providing technical oversight to the SOC team members.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on matters pertaining to computer, network, and communications security, information and cyber security, general oversight, compliance and training in the IT security area.
  • Direct the Bureau SOC that influences a range of the Bureau's activities, many of which have a direct and corresponding impact to the mission of the Bureau and its' critical infrastructure.
  • Interaction and communication are with a range of highranking leaders, managers, and security experts within and outside the Bureau, components of the Federal Reserve, and responsible executives, supervisors, and technical staff within the Bureau who are responsible for program, infrastructure, and security functions supporting daily operations.
  • Manage a team of cyber and IT specialists, set priorities and deadlines, assign work to team members based on skill level of team members, difficulty of task, priorities, etc.
  • Review and analyze technical and workrelated problems and issues that arise and develop or recommends alternative solutions.
