Part-Time Lecturer of Astronautical Engineering

The Department of Astronautical Engineering is seeking a Part-time Lecturer to teach ASTE-331: Spacecraft Systems Engineering. The applicant must have at least a Master's of Science in an Engineering discipline and significant work experience in the space industry. Teaching experience is preferred.
Applications must include a CV and personal statement. Applicants are encouraged to include a succinct statement on fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion. This is a part-time appointment, effective Fall 2024. Applications will be considered starting immediately until the position is filled. The core salary range for this position is $3,476 - $3,650 per unit. This is a part-time position. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Preferred Education - PhD in science or engineering.
Minimum Education – master's in science or engineering.
Teaching Experience – 1-5 years
