The Primary Care Clinic is centrally located within the Clinics and Surgery Center building allowing patients to see their primary care provider in the same building they may see their specialty care providers. Our clinic sees a large volume of patients providing care to all- from the routine physicals to the medically complex acute care visits. As a Clinical Support Professional, you will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits. Key responsibilities include monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records. In addition, you will be a valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload while working independently
- Demonstrated ability to follow protocol specific care delivery expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
- One of the following: Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred)
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant)
If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate's specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.
Location: 909 Fulton St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
Hours: 40 Hours a week, Monday - Friday, clinic hours
Sign-On Bonus: Bonus may be available to qualified applicants
