Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to join a household team in the Upper East Side of New York CityThis position requires the candidate to reside in the home from Sunday evening through Friday morning, providing care and support to our principal, an elderly woman, along with assisting other caregivers.

Responsibilities:

Meal Preparation:
Prepare meals for the principal and other caregivers as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met and meals are served on time

Personal Care Assistance:
Assist with changing, bathing, and general hygiene for the principalWork closely with the nurse's aide during these activities

Mobility Support:
Accompany the principal and nurse's aide on daily walks, ensuring safety and comfort at all times

Light Housekeeping:
Perform light cleaning duties, such as tidying up common areas and maintaining a clean living environmentPlease note, a professional cleaner visits twice a week for laundry and deep cleaning tasks

Shift Coverage:
Be available to cover shifts for other employees as needed, ensuring seamless care and support for the principal.

Qualifications:


Minimum 5 years related work experience in a private home with an individual as a caregiver or companion Excellent references are required from current and previous employers Ability to work collaboratively with a team of caregivers.

Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Flexibility to cover shifts and adapt to the needs of the household.
