Job Description:
Acclaim is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Inpatient Cardiology team. The Department of Internal Medicine provides specialty services across the continuum of care at JPS.
We currently have over 100 providers who work in a variety of different locations including the Main Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and our Community Medicine Clinics.
The Department of Internal Medicine utilizes a robust APP onboarding program, inclusive of a 6-8 week training phase in which APPs are able to safely learn and drill the fundamentals of patient care, before their official patient templates open.
Furthermore, this onboarding is followed by a thoughtful and well-calibrated template ramp up, such that APPs are given the time to learn and grow appropriately in their new role.
Acclaim Multi-Specialty (Acclaim) is a multi-specialty medical group practice comprised of over 500 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants that partner with JPS Health Network (JPS).
From primary care to pediatrics to a full range of specialties, Acclaim's goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate care for every patient, every time.
As the county health network and Level-1 Trauma Center, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years covering a 3.5+ million population.
In addition to providing high-quality care, JPS is also an urban teaching hospital with a long history of training physicians and medical students.
JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs, including the largest family medicine residency in the nation.JPS educates in tandem with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas Christian University Medical School.
Position Description
- Full-Time Inpatient Cardiology Position (40 hours per week)
- Weekdays with four, 10hour shifts 7AM5PM, no weekends
- Work with Attending Cardiologist and Lead Cardiology APP in order to assist with patient care including interventional, electrophysiology and heart failure patient management in addition to supporting invasive lab needs
- Large existing practice of physicians and APPs with APP leadership structure
- Robust and comprehensive APP onboarding (68 week phase)
- EPIC EMR
- Mmodal dictation with possible AI enabled scribe in near future
