About the Role:

Under the general direction of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist (ARBS) will focus on reviewing and invoicing orders, while maintaining strong working relationships with internal partners. The ARBS will work closely with the Company's sales team and should always be looking for solutions and to improve processes. This position will require an agile mindset and possesses a keen eye for detail.

What You'll Do:

  • Review and analyze sales orders to be invoiced.
  • Code, document & follow up on sales orders that can't be invoiced.
  • Invoice generation in Company's ERP and invoice submission.
  • Upload to customer portals (Ariba, Coupa, Taulia, etc)
  • Partner with AR Collectors to resolve invoicing disputes / errors.
  • Identify and communicate escalations to mitigate risk.
  • Provide weekly updates on your billing dashboard.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications & Interests:

  • High school diploma required.
  • College degree in Accounting, Finance preferred or equivalent level of experience.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in Accounts Receivable/Billing/Collections.
  • Passion for process improvement.
  • Basic understanding GAAP and general accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of O2C (Order to Cash) cycle.
  • Strong customer focus experience with a result-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and plan extensively to meet goals / KPI's.
  • Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and heavy work volume within time constraints.
  • Ability to maintain duties with accuracy, consistency, and quality in a fast paced and agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong business acumen and passion for solutions.
  • Ability to find opportunities to drive change that improves the customer's experience, eliminates waste, and optimize Company costs.
  • Intermediate Microsoft applications required (Excel, Word & Outlook).
  • NetSuite experience would be a bonus.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
