The Laboratory Prep Technician will be responsible for supporting the Laboratory Instrument Analysts by following methodologies sample digestion prep.

What you will do:

  • Preparing and samples for a wide variety of testing procedures.
  • Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the prep procedures assigned.
  • Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
  • Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
  • Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.
  • Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.

What you will bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety.
