Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other team members, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Administer medications as ordered, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting outcomes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adequate stock of supplies and equipment.
  • Transport patients as needed, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician, with a strong background in patient care and technical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties, including standing, walking, and lifting.
