As our Workday Administrator, you will partner with People Operations and Management Company Finance to lead our Workday implementation and will be the primary administrator of the system on an ongoing basis. You will play a vital role in supporting the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday system, ensuring the system is up-to-date and meets the needs of the organization on an ongoing basis, including responsibility for security and integrations. This role will organize, implement, and lead Workday specific solutions and projects from a technical perspective. You will report to the CFO and/or Head of People Operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Act as owner and primary administrator of the Workday application and as primary project manager for Workday implementation
  • Troubleshoot issues, providing expert level support, based on severity and impact. Resolve issues or identify vendor escalations as needed. Own issues until resolved
  • Work closely with internal partners (Finance, HR, Systems) to build and maintain Workday business process configurations and security
  • Configure business process and custom reports and process change requests supporting modifications to the application configuration
  • Setup configuration for security domains, business process management, security groups, and other configuration elements, as needed
  • Provide application performance monitoring, evaluation, and optimization
  • Design, develop, and deploy integrations in Workday, utilizing Studio, Connectors, and Payroll Integrations (including inbound and outbound EIBs). Investigate integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement plans to mitigate and prevent future issues
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to maximize the Workday suite to provide an easy and efficient employee and manager experience. Influence cross functional teams in the design, development and implementation of Workday functionality and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Implements or directs the implementation of such process improvements
  • Maintain application roadmap and set priorities in partnership with business. Ensure successful implementation of upgrades and enhancements
  • Monitor license usage and budgeting for licensing costs
  • Develop and maintain all internal documentation related to Workday

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Workday Administration
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience working with Workday's configurable security and configuring business processes
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields
  • Experience with large scale project management and proven Workday implementation experience
  • Ability to ensure all operational transactions are captured accurately and interfaced timely while maintaining data integrity
  • Strong experience with Workday Integration toolset: Studio, EIB document transformation, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, Report Writer, APIs, RaaS, Web Services, XSLT, & REST URLs
  • Demonstrated ability to design and solve new integrations with Workday as needed
  • Proven track record in implementing and delivering new functionality within Workday
  • Ability to recommend Workday specific process improvements, innovative solutions, and ways to remain compliant with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Strong expertise in MSOffice suite, in particular Excel, and Jira
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
