Technology Solutions Consultants provide a highly desirable service to clients and prospects of Marsh McLennan Agency. This consulting service bolsters client retention and creates new prospective opportunities for Marsh McLennan Agency. Technology Solutions Consultants provide Marsh McLennan Agency a competitive edge in the broker landscape. Through the adaptation of HR Technology products, HR Technology Consulting projects will result in a reduced administrative burden on our Marsh McLennan Agency service teams, allowing them to focus their efforts on serving clients' employee benefits needs.

CONSULTING SERVICE DELIVERY

  • Provide strategic plans and timelines for clients' human capital management technology solution evaluations
  • Gather and understand client objectives, requirements, and budgets
  • Effectively analyze market data to produce recommendations and solutions
  • Present recommendations and solutions with poise
  • Manage the vendor sales cycles
  • Collect and distribute relevant materials, documentation, and proposals
  • Advocate on client's behalf and leverage MMA vendor relationships to affect services, costs, and contractual commitments positively
  • Document and transition projects to appropriate parties through MMA consulting methodology

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

  • Operate as a technical expert in human capital management technology solutions
  • Serve as a human capital management solutions specialist directly with clients or internal teams
  • Is broadly involved in the industry through participation in external associations and events; forming and growing relationships with service providers and other key stakeholders; and understanding the capabilities of our competitors
  • Identify opportunities to refine and/or innovate services and consulting products

EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE

  • Work with Producer and/or Client Services teams and other internal departments to plan, execute, and track customized HR Technology service strategies for each client, designed to create measurable value and efficiencies in their businesses
  • Build personalized client relationships through demonstrated ownership of the HR Technology service plan and multiple channels of communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Work with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and timeliness of service execution
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize workload, client service requests and service parameters on business processes

MARKET STRATEGY AND NEGOTIATION

  • Evaluate terms and conditions of quotes received from vendors; compares quote options from multiple vendors and presents contract comparisons as requested
  • Remain current on HR Technology industry trends

REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of employee benefits or HR technology experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fundamental understanding or consulting and project management disciplines
  • Deep understanding of the HR function across various industries
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

PREFERRED:

  • BS/BA in in business or related field
  • 7+ Years of HR or HR technology experience
  • PHR or other HR industry accreditation
  • PMP
