Position Overview:

As a valued member of the surgical team, you will play a crucial role as a Surgical Technologist. Utilizing your expertise in sterile techniques and knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and technologies, you will assist physicians in performing various procedures.

This part-time role is primarily based at the Eagan Surgery Center with the opportunity to work at other locations as needed. The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts and offers flexibility to float to different surgery centers.

How You'll Make a Difference for Patients:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in sterile techniques in the operating room
  • Prepare the operating room and sterile field for procedures
  • Provide necessary instruments to the surgical team
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience
  • Follow protocols for surgical environment preparation
  • Assist in maintaining surgical instrumentation
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist or enrolled in a related program
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to lift surgical instrumentation and stand for extended periods
  • Strong visual acuity for assisting in procedures
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
