Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Distribution Technician to join our team at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of all warehouse tasks, including order pulling, order preparation for shipment, inventory stocking, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will consistently meet or exceed supervisor expectations and adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all assigned tasks in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding supervisors' communicated expectations.
- Pull orders accurately and efficiently to prepare them for shipping.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Work Experience:
Six (6) months experience in warehousing preferred; medical supplies experience preferred.
Machines, Tools, and Equipment:
Durable Medical Equipment
- Respiratory Care Equipment
Work Environment:
This position operates in a warehouse setting, with some exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- The role requires the use of standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
