Overview

Sev1Tech is searching for a Master Scheduler with experience in building and improving enterprise network environments. The Master Scheduler will support the implementation, operation, and improvement of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cybersecure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions. expertise in scheduling and project management will be essential in ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within scope.

meshONET is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an endtoend network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.

  • Manage and maintain the integrated master schedule (IMS) for multiple, complex projects using Microsoft Project or other project management tools as directed
  • Integrate complex project schedules into the master schedule
  • Track project progress against the schedule, identify schedule variances, and work with the team to implement corrective actions against the baselined IMS
  • Provide strategic analysis from products like the IMS to make programmatic recommendations like resource allocation, task priorities and risk forecasting
  • Conduct regular meetings with program managers, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to review and analyze project status, define new project timelines, dependencies, objectives, milestones and critical paths
  • Analyze the IMS to find possible opportunities like fast-tracking of tasks, process improvement and project schedule innovation to improve the overall project
  • Provide accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate project status, schedule adherence, key metrics, and performance indicators to management and stakeholders
  • Develops and interprets policies in specific program areas, and provides leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to Space Systems Command (SSC) leadership, resulting in the formulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet mission objectives
  • Directs, administers, and evaluates meshONE-T programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas
  • Provides technical expertise to the meshONE-T Service Management team in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements

Salary Range: 145k- 155K (negotiable)



Responsibilities
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of applicable experience listed in the roles and responsibilities
  • Five years' experience directly managing and integrating Microsoft Project schedules
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or other similar degree; without the bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years will be required
  • Experience managing complex IT enterprise network projects and/or programs
  • Strong oral and written skills able to talk with technical subject matter experts, government civilians, and military personnel of varying rank
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple project schedules simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all delivered products
  • Excellence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc)
  • Travel: 10% to surrounding USSF and USAF bases (Buckley, Peterson, Schriever) and the northern Denver area (Boulder, Westminster) as required

Qualifications
  • Management of an IT network design team on an ACAT 1 program
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel or Tableau, to generate reports and metrics
