Summary

  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on the development and maintenance cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance.


Duties
  • Monitors the rigorous application of cyber policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning and management services.
  • Designs/integrates a cyber strategy that outlines the vision, mission, and goals that align with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Provides policy guidance to DHA stakeholders.
  • Ensures that cyber workforce management policies and processes comply with organizational requirements.
  • Develops and oversees the DHA Risk Management Framework (RMF) privacy compliance program and program staff, supporting privacy compliance, governance/policy, and developing written incident response procedures to address privacy data breaches.
  • Interprets and applies laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific privacy RMF overlay requirements.
  • Prepares and presents formal or informal briefings, speeches, and lectures on the developments in cybersecurity processes, to a variety of audiences.
