STAFF NURSE / 40 HOURS / EVENING SHIFT / BWH - PACU/Peri-Anesthesia

The Peri-anesthesia Staff Nurse (RN) supports a combined unit of specialties which include; Per-op, PACU, Day Surgery, Day Recovery Unit, Recovery and Procedural and Borders ICU.

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
  • Providing care for patients in the Peri-anesthesia area
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
Qualifications
To qualify you must have:
  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Experience: PACU experience preferred and relevant ICU experience preferred.
  • Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
