Position Summary:

The Junior Designer creates and executes innovative creative and all aspects of the visual identity of the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. This innovative designer will collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a cohesive brand, creative statement, and aesthetic that reflects the values and ideals of the organization. They will design a variety of consumer/fan touch points ranging from out of home, direct mail, digital banners, and social media just to name a few. Sitting in the Marketing Department reporting to our Design Director, our Junior Designer is experienced in bringing a variety of ideas to the table and eager to learn and grow here as a designer.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver creative solutions to ensure the development of effective multichannel design materials
  • Resize and prep files for delivery for both print and digital deliverables
  • Maintain great file organization and file cleanliness
  • Communicate dynamic design/creative topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical/design audience
  • Collaborate with the creative staff to ensure continuous team growth and innovation
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with other departments, leaders, and members of the organization

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of professional experience with direct creative design experience
  • An incredible portfolio of work
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and approachable attitude with a strong sense of team collaboration
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Animation experience is not a mandatory but a plus
