Job Description

With an average of 25,000 cases initiated annually, the workload is diverse and dynamic.



Responsibilities

As the Clerk of Court, you will play a vital role in managing the Court's operations and overseeing a dedicated team of around 130 employees and contractors. Reporting to the Court Conference and the Chief Judge, you will be tasked with various administrative functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the Court. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing Budgets and Appropriations
  • Developing and Implementing Strategic Plans, Legislation, Rules, and Policies
  • Leading Information Technology Planning and Service Delivery
  • Handling Human Resources Operations
  • Overseeing Facilities, Security, and Space Utilization
  • Providing Case Services and Courtroom Support
  • Managing Financial Services and Acting as Certifying Officer
  • Supervising Procurement and Contracting Activities
  • Maintaining the Law Library and Digital Collections
  • Handling Inventory and Records
  • Overseeing the Travel Program
