Job Description

This role will apply a risk-based approach to audit projects that are operational and strategic in nature, will develop audit programs and project plans and have full accountability for the lifecycle of the audit. This Audit Consultant will assist with risk-based IT and Integrated audits with oversight from lead auditors. The role will be working in a collaborative environment to deliver reviews where knowledge, experiences and internal/external networks can be leveraged to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contributes to department initiatives to improve Allstate IA processes including but not limited to data analytics strategies and the fraud center of excellence
  • Ensure the client is addressing audit issues appropriately and in a timely manner, as agreed upon at the conclusion of the engagement
  • Participate in the development of the audit program, manages the execution of assigned audit test procedures, including reviewing and analyzing evidence and ensuring appropriate conclusions are reached
  • Assist in identifying risks and controls within applications and systems that supports key business processes and performs an assessment to determine audit scope
  • Responsible for executing assigned IT audits/audit tasks to achieve department guidelines and within established timetables with high quality results
Education
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree
  • CISA or CIA preferred
Experience
  • 2 or more years of IT audit/consulting related experience
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $62, ,175.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
