A Brief Overview
The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for leading, facilitating multi-disciplinary, matrix teams through the aspects of programming, planning, design, construction, process improvement, and new site activations. The reporting relationship is matrix in which this position will work across the Supply Chain disciplines and partner across sister departments. The Program Manager's experience with staff and detail understanding of Supply Chain Logistics Operations and Systems as it is essential to fulfill responsibilities, such as providing thought leadership, operations subject matter expertise, and oversight to key stakeholders including VPs, directors, physicians and others. Program Manager will provide analyses, recommendations, decision support, and project and budget management for a broad array of issues in the areas of work redesign, continuous process improvement and planning as related to Supply Chain. The role may include organizational change management; ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards; budget management; quality assurance/quality improvement; safety and risk management requirements compliance; and actualization of hospital and unit policies, goals and objectives. This position must be a liaison between the client/users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside jurisdictional agencies. This role must interact effectively with a diverse, very high profile population while at all times exhibiting diplomacy, cultural sensitivity, kindness and compassion and grace under pressure – ultimate C-ICARE role modeling. This role will be responsible for managing other Supply Chain related activations, capital projects and initiatives, including, but not limited to, the following: Support implementation of Supply Chain transformation plan, new activations, lead lean process improvement, and transition planning.

What you will do
- Establishes effective working relationships with key operational leaders and stakeholders
- Makes necessary technical, professional, business, budget and process decisions and ensures that all needed decisions are accomplished according to schedule, scope, quality and budget guidelines.
- Completes various special projects, which may require reviewing and analyzing information, identifying problems, recommending solutions, and writing reports.
- Uses understanding of Supply Chain operational workflows to guide operational teams in designing operational flows for activations
- Assesses, and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project, including not only the user's functional needs but also hospital and external jurisdictional criteria for heal and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics.
- Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as department representative on committees and professional organizations.
- Implements quality control measures to ensure project compliance with department, hospital, and university policies, government codes and regulations; also ensures conformance to the requirements of all project participants.
- Maintains communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions.
- Manages the review and approval process to ensure appropriate approvals of all design work from schematic studies through final construction documents and related field changes and changes in scope; as well as approval for conceptual and detailed projects budgets.
- Assures that department patient affairs are conducted in accordance with internal and external regulation and compliance (i.e. patient confidentiality related to PHI or other sensitive and personal information, internet security, immigration and financial policies)
- Establishes performance management systems of clinical and business related processes, trains staff, and ensures that performance is regularly monitored and that the necessary remedial action is taken to ensure that plans are achieved. Promotes a culture of continual improvement, and innovation.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
Experience Qualifications
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
- Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, interpersonal skills
- Ability to budget, make financial projections and write reports
- Ability to ensure project compliance with hospital infection control procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation
- Ability to handle potentially sensitive situations by applying consultative skills in working with internal and external constituent groups
- Ability to plan, organize, motivate, mentor, direct and evaluate the work of others
- Ability to prioritize work by making informed judgments and to develop solutions for complex problems
- Ability to utilize project management software such as Freighttrain, Fit Up, MS Project
- Knowledge of CAD system, CAFM, estimating, cost control, scheduling, construction administration, quality control, specification writing, and space planning
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
- Knowledge of technical, professional and business in the fields of healthcare delivery, architecture, and construction, and building design process
Licenses and Certifications
- PMP - Project Mgmt Professional preferred .

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $ $69.74 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
