Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Central Sterile Technician you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

· You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs.

· You will use microbiology, instrumentation and hand cleaning techniques of equipment and machines.

· You will print appropriate doctors preference list, assemble case cart and fill requisitions.

· You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments.

· You will be responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators and their monitoring cleaning.

What qualifications you will need:

· Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred.

· CRCST certification required within 1 year of hire date.

· Familiarity with and knowledge of medical supplies is highly preferred. Prior experience is not required, but is preferred
