Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate patient identification and order verification while preparing patients for imaging procedures.
- Be attentive to the needs of patients throughout the imaging process.
- Clearly explain the procedure to patients and their families to enhance cooperation and reduce anxiety.
- Address any patient inquiries or concerns.
- Perform radiologic examinations that yield high-quality images while ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.
- Adhere to established protocols, maintain proper patient positioning, and utilize equipment effectively while following radiation safety guidelines.
- Apply sterile techniques during invasive procedures.
- Recognize and respond swiftly to urgent patient situations.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including timestamps and image storage.
- Coordinate patient care and relay essential information to other healthcare providers post-procedure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff, ensuring supplies and equipment are stored efficiently.
- Pursue ongoing education and professional development opportunities, particularly regarding new procedures and technologies.
- Assist and mentor students and fellow Radiologic Technologists in protocols, procedures, and equipment usage as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ARRT registration.
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers.
- May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform MA functions as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IV certification.

- Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
