Position Summary: As a Site Superintendent with Construction Management and AC/DC Power expertise, you will play a crucial role in supervising construction projects and ensuring the efficient operation of electrical power systems. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction teams, coordinating project timelines, and applying your technical knowledge of AC and DC power systems to maintain and optimize power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Management:

  • Supervise all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and lead construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design and construction-related challenges. AC/DC Power Expertise:
  • Provide technical expertise in AC and DC power systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct power system assessments to identify potential issues and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards in all power system installations and operations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement power solutions tailored to project requirements.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on AC and DC power equipment as needed. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in construction management, including leadership roles on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of AC and DC power systems, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM, PE) are a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • OSHA certification or safety training is a plus. Physical Demands:
  • Mobility and Endurance: Ability to move around large and uneven construction sites, walk long distances, and navigate obstacles.
  • Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking are required.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lift and carry materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Climbing and Balancing: Climb ladders, scaffolding, and other structures; good balance and coordination are necessary.
  • Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching: Perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Weather Exposure: Work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind.
  • Visual and Auditory Acuity: Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) and adequate hearing to ensure effective communication and safety on-site.
  • Manual Dexterity: Handle documents, use computers and mobile devices, and perform minor adjustments or repairs.
  • Stress Management: Manage stress and mental fatigue, dealing with tight deadlines, safety concerns, and coordination of multiple teams.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and sometimes harnesses. Compensation and Benefits
