The ideal candidate is a generalist product manager looking to push their creative & technical skills in a fintech startup environment who is excited about making an impact transforming access to higher education in an inclusive fashion.

In this role you will be a "product owner", architecting and developing intentional and contemporary products for Stride members. As a Product Manager you will drive key initiatives that ensure a safe, secure, and personalized experience for our members, partner institutions and internal stakeholders. You will work on highly visible projects across areas such as online user experience, financial data connection and personalization. You will work with engineering, data science, compliance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop partnership strategies that drive the growth of our products and businesses. This position should be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Play the critical role of bridging the technical and business worlds to deliver product features and enhancements that delight our customers and drive our business forward
Build disruptive innovative solutions in a customer-centric environment
Create and evangelize a product vision and own a multi-year product roadmap
Develop specifications for epics and stories including high-fidelity wireframes, specifications for functionality, persona development, API interfaces and more
Prioritize and drive backlogs for launch with your dedicated engineering teamsShip features continually
Own instrumentation and data for your products to drive deep understanding, innovation and product plans
Improve customer feedback pathways, NPS score, and product iteration cycles
Lead in a fast-paced agile environment
Experiment constantly to drive customer learnings and customer impact

Preferred Qualifications

Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, sales, operations, legal, compliance, capital markets, and executive management to translate customer needs into a product
Agile (Scrum) work experience
Superior communication skills, written and verbal
Experience presenting to C-level leadership
Experience delivering quality software that solves business and user needs
Data-driven approach and excellent analytical skills
Ability to work with remote teams
3+ years in product management
Experience owning designs and design iterations
Experience with hypothesis-based product experimentation
Experience speaking to actual users, empathizing with them and gathering insights, and translating those insights into meaningful product enhancements
Experience in the Fintech spaceComfort with: Figma, GitHub, Jira, Postman, LogRocket
